Guest Presenter: Jill Boiarski Moore, Concur Consulting Manager, Axosnet Consulting

Jill Boiarski Moore has 10 years of experience improving the T&E process with a unique client/solution/consulting background beginning in the AP department at Ashland Inc. where she managed the Corporate Expense Team which includes integrations with Concur, SAP, Citibank and Cognos Analytics.  She has led many T&E implementations as Ashland acquired and divested companies bringing in and carving out cardholders and T&E users, spinning off new systems as well as end user training.

Throughout her time at Ashland she was tasked with creating, running and delivering month end reconciliations as well as spend reports to upper management for maximizing discounts, rebates and vendor negotiations.  This experience lead her to a job at Concur Technologies as an Implementation Project Manager where she worked with many Fortune 500 companies to automate their T&E programs and reporting solutions. She is now leading the Concur Consulting practice at Axosnet designing, implementing and improving T&E processes with analytics as an advocate for clients to get the most out of their T&E solution.

The 90 minute Morning session will address the full Chapter Membership, both Buyers & Suppliers. Focus will be on:

  1. Hotel Data Sources

  2. Determining the right hotels for direct negotiations

  3. Rate discount alternatives

Using the data, we will discuss the key factors to consider when optimizing the hotel program and potential savings. How various factors impact travel pattern shifts. When using an online booking tool, which has high adoption (greater than 75%), simple changes and rules can provide quick results in shifting market share.
